Suji Ka Halwa

Ingredients

  • Sugar 3 cup
  • Yellow Colour few drops
  • Suji 1, 1/2 cup
  • Water 3 cup
  • Cardamom Green 4-5
  • Ghee 3 tbsp

Instruction

Step 1: To make sugar syrup, take sugar and water in equal quantity.

Step 2: In a pan heat sugar and cardamom seeds.

Step 3: In water add food color and mix well.

Step 4: Pour this water in sugar and mix to make syrup.

Step 5: When sugar is fully dissolved, syrup is ready.

Step 6: Leave syrup to cool.

Step 7: In a separate pan, roast semolina.

Step 8: Then add sugar syrup to the semolina.

Step 9: Mix well and boil.

Step 10: When it comes to boil add ghee and cook.

Step 11: Mix thoroughly so that it would not stick to the base of the pan.

Step 12: When ready takeout in a platter and garnish with nuts.

Step 13: Serve with Mathri or Puri.
