INGREDIENTS:
- Fish [diced or cubes] – 50 g
- Onions [chopped] – 1 tbsp
- Green chili [slit] – 1 no.
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Red chili powder – ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder – ½ tsp
- Cumin powder – ½ tsp
- Curry leaves – 4 nos.
- Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp
- Dried red chili – 1 no.
- Garlic [peeled] – 2 pods.
- Water – as required
- Oil – ½ tsp
- Salt – as per taste
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Roast fenugreek seeds, garlic pods, dried chili on a low flame till they turn aromatic and blend them together and make a fine masala powder.
Step 2: Blend onions and green chilies to a fine paste in a mixer jar.
Step 3: Add oil to a pan, add curry leaves, onions and sauté until the onions turn gulden brown. Add salt and ginger garlic paste. Add water and let it boil.
Step 4: Next, add diced fish pieces in this boiling mixture and let it cook for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5: Now add chopped coriander Leaves and masala powder, and stir carefully without disturbing the fish pieces. Leave it for another 5 minutes, and your tasty Andhra style fish curry is ready to serve.
