FISH PULAO

INGREDIENTS:

  • Brown rice – 20 g
  • Boneless fish – 50 g
  • Onion – 30 g [make a paste]
  • Ginger – 1 tsp
  • Green chilli paste – 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder – 2 to 3 tsp
  • Turmeric – ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 tsp

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Cut the fish into pieces and mix with onion paste, salt, green chilli paste, and pepper powder.

Step 2: Shallow fry in oil until gulden brown.

Step 3: Heat oil in a pan, stir fry rice, turmeric, and ginger for a few minutes.

Step 4: Add sufficient water to the rice and cook till its three-fourths ready.

Step 5: Add fish pieces, mix well and cook the rice until it is done.
