CHICKEN BHUNA MASALA

INGREDIENTS:

  • Boneless and skinless chicken breasts [cube] – 50g
  • Onion [chopped] – 1 tbsp 
  • Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  • Dried chili flakes – 1 tsp
  • Garlic [crushed] – 2 cloves
  • Tomatoes [puree] – ½ cup
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Pepper – 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice – squeeze as per taste
  • Oil – ½ tsp

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1:Cook the chicken until tender.

 Step 2:When the chicken is nearly cooked, add the onion, peppers, garam masala, garlic, chili, and stir-fry for a few minutes. 

Step 3:Now add the tomatoes, salt and pepper, and a dash of lemon juice. 

Step 4:Bring to the boil then simmer very slowly for an hour or so until the sauce is reduced by half to give a thick consistency and concentrated flavor.

Step 5:Serve hot!
